Our reed making sets for bassoon are organized into two categories.

    • The Classic Sets are standard reed making sets of tools and come assembled in three incremental sizes.

    • The Artist Sets are designed in collaboration with prominent bassoonists and reed makers. Discover more about the David Petersen and Yumi Deger sets.


The pages for the Artist Sets provide a description of how each artist makes their reeds, as well as an overview of which products they use and recommend. These may include everything from hand tools to shapers, templates, machines, and other supplies.
