The most important aspects of bassoon reed making are the careful selection and sorting of the cane. For TITAR bassoon reeds, all cane is meticulously tested and sorted by density and hardness before initial processing.
In addition to numerous guest performances, CD and TV productions with the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, the Heidelberg Symphony Orchestra, the Justus Frantz Philharmonic, SR, SWR, and the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, as well as the Classical Philharmonic Bonn and the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, Vitali Titar also served for 15 years as principal bassoonist at the Dnipro Opera Theater in Ukraine.
