José Antonio Masmano is Associate Principal Oboe and Cor Anglais of the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada (Granada City Orchestra) since 1996 and Professor of Oboe and Orchestral Repertoire at the Conservatoire of Music in Aragon since 2009. He is President of the Asociación de Fagotistas y Oboístas de España (Spanish Double Reed Society) since its foundation in 2011.
