medium soft (0.58 mm), medium (0.60 mm) or medium hard (0.62 mm).
The gouging and measuring is done with dry cane and a tolerance of +/- 0.01 mm.
Measuring soaked cane might lead to different results (up to 0.01-0.02 mm difference).
