These straps are made by a bassoonist who understands that bassoonists require robust straps, but are also quirky folk. They are made of quilting cotton and reinforced with two types of interfacing for durability. The adjustable closure on the cup is heavy duty to hold up to years of use, and is reinforced at the attachment points, as well. The cup straps are tapered to clear the keywork, so you can play your instrument knowing that they keys will not get caught in your strap.
