Scraped and unscraped reeds up to 22 mm width can be cut to any length desired.
The adjustable length stop can be preset if you are always using the same lengths.
If ever needed, the hardened steel cutting unit can be resharpened.

The self-arresting reed holder fits staples with 2-5 mm diameter, measured on the thicker inner end of the staple.
